ROC EyeWear Spring Summer Lookbook Launch

I was so thrilled to be invited to this event this past Wednesday night.

With the featured illustrations for the lookbook by Kelly Smith,

Fused with gorgeous models,

Like my BFF Jake Gordon (Chic Models & Jake Lives Here Blog)...

..success was inevitable!

Kelly's illustrations were decked throughout the long, narrow walls of The Passage,

Whilst the place was vibed by a cute DJ-ette, and illuminated by subtle candlelight...

The mood was simply delicious...as were the endless drinks and nibbles.

A successful night to say the least!

My favourite artist Kelly Smith has done it..again!
Kelly has recently been working on some illustrations for the launch of the

ROC Eyewear Spring Summer Lookbook
And what an amazual job she has done indeed!
I can't wait to see the entire series.
On a personal note..this excites me even more so as the male model used
in this campaign, Jake Gordon (Chic), is a very good friend of mine.
So was naturally VERY excited to know Kelly was going to be drawing him!
Looking fiiiiiine Jakey Gee :)
Also to feature in the campaign are female models Victoria Lee and Lauren Esther.
Kelly - you are amazing!

...she is so talented and does some INCREDIBLE illustrations...
She illustrated me a while back here and now I have another so feel VERY lucky indeed.

Some many months ago my blogger lady love and friend Kelly Smith asked if I wanted to

model for her monthly illo to feature regularly in Shop Til You Drop...
...Of course I was more than thrilled and totally flattered and jumped at the thought!
So above are the first 3 features (Dec, Nov and Oct 2009).

Kelly is so so super talented it's scary... (obviously) ...
And it's SO great to see some of the big guns in the industry snapping up her huge talent.

I was so so bored today and decided to try and draw myself...
I admit I am NO Kelly Smith by any means..
But my mum and sister recognised it was meant to be me...
So that left me happy enough!
I am no way 100% happy with it; but I couldn't be bothered corecting the things which were 'off'..
..which lets face it..is a lot of it. haha OH WELL.

Anyway thought I would share it!

I wasn't sure whether to post it or not.

Her style is so unique and whimsical...it makes me very happy.

Abby is an Aussie and is behind the blog STOMPFACE - which is awesome.
Check it out!
She has an eye for all things beautiful and adds a personal touch to everything she posts.

Also has a mad sense of humour - love this girl; and you will too.

She is also is behind the blog MR. BIRD.

Mr. Bird and I are already engaged (sorry Isa, I got dibs first! ha)...

I have been having too much fun in Sydney and have had ZERO spare seconds!

But I am now back home and back to boring old reality!

BOO BLAH BOO.

A summary...

3x boozey boozey nights, packets of cigarettes, sushi dates, thai dinners, lunch in the sun by the water, dancing until the early early morning, random midgets asking to sit on my lap (seriously), tears, laughter, red faces, grain waves (new obsession), bacardi breezers, champagne, clothing purchases, Model As Muse book delivered, hearing stories from a friends New York/US Adventure, gushing over Edward Cullen at least once an hour (out loud, obvi more often in my head), and the list could go on and on and on.

Night night for now - I need SLEEP!
